Dont you think its racist to blame blacks and Latinos for this mess when they only represent 10 percent of foreclosures?

Forclosures are a small problem, not that much of an issue. Only about
$100,000,000,000.00 of the
$700,000,000,000.00 theft.
All of the mortgages, on all homes, and all forclosed homes, could be COMPLETELY PAID OFF with 1/7th the ammount government wants to spend.
The problem is theft by bankers who this money is printed for. The richest of the rich, and they are empowered by the “fed” who creates this debt, to pay them, which devalues our money.
Next year each $1.00 will only be worth about $0.50, as this theft moves from the electronic system only, to the paper.

I have my house and money, I am OK. But some of my white brothers and sisters can’t afford Shaniqua’s 10 kids and free housing.

Well, whites make up 70-75% of the population, so it only makes sense that most forclosures are from Whitey.

Conturds believe drug addicts like rush limp-burger, who must be swallowing handfuls of oxycontin and swilling scotch by the gallon these days in between blaming Democrats for what the GOP hath wrought- what with deregulation of the financial markets and de-emphasizing regulatory agencies. I notice that too. I agree with you. It was greed or for the love of money. I am sure by both parties played a part but Republican was in charge for six years. I mostly blame Bush. He took from the poor and gave to the rich. Under Bush and McCain want to continue his police, big corporation and the wealthiest benefit not the middle and lower class. }{

I’ve heard many remarks about this whole crisis being the fault of people who took loans they could not afford.
Honestly, I agree that to be a very unfair statement as none of the people who took out any loans from housing to auto to business are to blame for this scenario.
I don’t think the majority of people have been paying attention to what has been going on in the country for many years. Not because they didn’t want to, but if it doesn’t affect them, there’s no real reason to look beyond. Now, it’s shocking to wake up being told the entire Global economy may be on the verge of collapse, and more to the point, here at home. So it’s easier to point the finger of blame towards something or someone else…The people are upset and rightfully so…As the truth of what has been happening during the past five years or so starts to be filtered out to the public, I think the pointing of fingers will start to ease up….
The Govt tried to do something when they hauled Countrywide into Washington for hearings a year or so ago…but it’s been no more than attempting to plug up holes in the dike with allot of water still crashing in on the other side….We may end up with a nationalized banking system at the end of all of this….who’s to know…no one does…and there in lies the nervousness….
This is going to take a long time before things start getting better…there’s a long bumpy ride ahead and I hope the country will not become even more divided than it currently is…shock and awe always seems to go hand in hand with cause and affect….and even during this chaotic economic time, the rich will continue to get richer and the less fortunate will stay just that, less fortunate….
