    most of you local small banks are in great shape!!! i do not believe you will find a such a list!!!

    I don’t think we’re going to see any banks falter. Right now WaMu, Citi and several others are down, but their interests are well diversified to withstand this jolt. All of my bank stocks are down right now, some more than others. But I don’t see any of them folding - in fact I’m looking to buy more of their stock.

    But as far as bank safety and the security of your deposits I don’t think you’d have to worry. And remember you’d be FDIC insured up to $100k per institution.
