    PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY.

The purpose of government is not/should not be to bail everyone out of their own bad decisions.

I feel the the people that “bought into” the Variable Rate Mortgage, Zero Down, etc., scams are just as guilty as the Lenders/Mortgage Brokers.

I feel like the Lenders/Mortgage Brokers should have their license and livelihood taken away - kind of like Bill being impeached and losing his law license.

What ever happened to taking “personal responsibility” ? When you get pulled over by a Law Enforcement Officer, “ignorance of the law is NO EXCUSE!”
Should a person being charged with Intoxication Manslaughter be able to blame their IGNORANCE on someone else??

Unfortunately for Democrats … they have to recognize that for a majority of the last 60 years, that Democratic Houses and Congresses have CONTROLLED the nation and the President. So, with them REFUSING to PASS the Line Item Veto, in reality, the House and Senate have REALLY been controlling the country!!

AND, with the CURRENT Senate and Congress having the WORST approval rating in HISTORY, hopefully we will see a LOT of changes after the general elections.

A recent Reuters poll is out and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have pulled an upset: They have managed to make George Walker Bush twice as popular as Congress.

THE SENATE HAS A 25% APPROVAL RATING!

America needs to take care of their own. We also need to punish those who take advantage of the system. It is all a matter of living within our means and being honest citizens. Wow! What a concept…

    Ron Paul.

You are looking at EXACTLY the right issues. Are you looking at all of the answers available?

You may be told that Ron Paul would ‘end social security’ for example, because it is one of the ways people with vested interest in the status quo try to marginalize him and his views. In fact, he recognizes that the people who paid into the system are owed a debt just as valid as the debt to China, which we might also wish now that we had handled differently. The point is how do we dig ourselves out of that debt, since when you add the present value of the future entitlements debts to the international debt on moneys already borrowed, you come up with a total sum roughly equal to the entire household net worth in the United States. Your share of that is about $175,000. He wants to pay what is already owed, but phase out social security for the young folks who would never get anything out of it and who ought to be able to put their money into a better vehicle against their own retirement.

And meanwhile we are running an empire that we can’t afford, both militarily and with subsidies to others we have to borrow from China to pay.

He’d push to stop that and take care of us. He’d maintain a strong military…HERE where it would do us some good if we need it. As he puts it, even if we just brought everyone now overseas back here and kept them in the service, by virtue of their spending our money we pay them here rather than in a foreign country, that would be a HUGE domestic stimulus to the economy.

It goes on and on. But please trust that he in every instance has a direction and a plan to get from a to b and fallbacks if he can’t achieve all he wants.

Furthermore, even if he doesn’t get the nomination, any delegates he gets will strengthen his negotiating hand going into the convention, to sway the Republicans back to their conservative roots, rather than continuing with the new neoconservative philosophy that gives corporate contractors such as Halliburton first use of OUR money, with us paying interest over time on the money we borrow to pay NO BID contracts to these corporation.

Note that Obama and Hillary, as much as Cheney, Bush and McCain are all members of the same group think foreign policy entity - the Council of Foreign Relations, which counsels for MORE global government, with more trade agreements like NAFTA, more entities like the WTO, etc. Ron Paul is the only deviating voice in the group. As a strict constitutionalist he knows they are nowhere authorized in our Constitution and he wants to do away with our involvement in all of them.

He will also have money from his supporters to support like minded people to run in other elections. He is endorsing people to identify them to us for direct support, as well.

This candidacy isn’t a pie in the sky dream, it is a very serious attempt to take our country and our future back, and restore our Constitutional liberties.

Obviously there are well funded interests that would hate to see this be successful, since they would stop being able to milk the cash cow. Obviously, it will be a lot of work. But look him up. Look US as his supporters up to see if you think we aren’t willing to work to achieve this.

    We could use your help.

The first step is your vote. Ron Paul as an individual is significant because of his 20 year consistant record saying the same thing and voting strictly by the constitution. Some extremely varied people are all able to agree that we can trust him to be who he always has been. Vote for Ron Paul in your primary, and go to to see how you can help, if you are interested.

Banks lent money to people that were very high risk. The idea was if the people default then we foreclose the property and sell the house. To the banks it was a win win. But the market bottom out. The banks don’t want to foreclose because they will lose money (allot in some cases) And the people don’t want to leave because they like their home (which they never should have been given the loan for). So they look at the government for help. The problem is that the market should go down, those people should lose their homes, the banks should get hit with the huge loses. Both sides gambled with the market and they get beat by the “house”. The market is suppose to flachuate when you to stop it the prices just shoot up. Medical, housing, these things become so expensive because the government subsidizes it and the market never takes the adjustment that would happen naturally.
