How do I invest in foreclosures? I was snooping around the real estate classifies and saw some VERY good deals on houses. Are these good investments to buy and rent out? Are these good investments to buy then resell later? I’m talking about paying $10k or less for a house worth over $100k! What’s the catch?

There are still some in pre-foreclosure stage. Yet, there are still builders building houses in the area? I think CCC stands for Contra Costa County. East Bay - Alameda counties. Is it good to buy these houses? What is better to buy - a regular house from a builder - first owner type or second owned house that is in foreclosure? Thank you for your honest advice.
